All fun.

No Stress.

And the most importantly, no boys.

That's what a girls' getaway is all about (sorry boys). Although it's not like sex and the city trip to Abu Dhabi, i think we will get along well since we've been together for ten-ups-and-down-year. There's a special type of bonding that happens with girls-only trips and so many women have made these girlfriend trips an annual tradition and a way to mark special occasions in their lives. It's a time to relax, rejuvenate, and just getaway...just me and the girls -twin (dr mira) , xecca, sha & nomeg!

among 5 of us i'm the k-pop junkies. i'm in love with soooo many korean celebrity, i love their music, their dramas & movies. So, this trip is like my DREAM trip. *muka gatal*

I'VE BOOKED MY TICKET!!for 15 days..10 days i'll travel here & there with the girls and the last 5 days i'll travel alone (kinda adventurous,but seriously, i need time to pamper myself and like meleis always said 'bawa diri'.hahhahaha..

I know its a bit early to plan everything..I know that some last minute girl's trips work out great, but it's best to set the date for your women's only trip early, such as 6-12 months in advance. That gives all of my girlfriends enough time to plan their lives around the trip, save accordingly. We really need to plan ahead on what to do because everybody have their own restrictions and as a good friend, we should respect that.

FINANCIAL 
Nothing can spoil a girls-only trip faster than one of your girl friends in the group stressing or complaining about the cost. At this moment, i'm trying to determine financial capabilities of each girl friend who is going and be respectful. Remember, the point of the getaway is to get your girlfriends together to bond and have fun!After a few discussion via twitter, we agreed to go shoe-string-budget-style. We wanted to go to Jeju too. We have to decide whether we want to travel by KTX or plane. everything is about COST, COST, COST..

GOALS 
I'm looking for fun party time filled with cocktails and dancing,sight seeing, to see a show, lounging on a beach and make friends with the locals. I wanna mix that in with a little shopping & some fabulous dining.

MONEY SAVINGS TIPS 
1) COMPARE the lodging price. Some may be a great deal, while some might be a rip off. Some hotels might have AAA discount or other group discounts, so ask!!Sharing hostel rooms can save a lot of money.Anyway, its not like we will staying in the room for the whole day right?

2) We chose to 'walking' tours in Seoul, so, we really have to bring comfy footwear.

3) Bring snacks from home or make a trip to the local store and load up on snacks and drinks. Plus, we will rarely see Halal restaurant in Korea then maybe we will cook there.HAHAHAHA..xecca willing to bring rice cooker & sambal from home. I'll bring my tummy as usual. ngehngehngeh

4) Make sure to bring non-prescriptive meds (for headaches, etc) with us. Lucky we have a doctor in our circle. So, my twin will in charge on this.

5) Be FRIENDLY to bargain stuffs.hahahah & DO RESEARCH for great offers!

Ada pelbagai rules dalam perhubungan yang biasa kita dengari. Biarkan lelaki memulakan langkah pertama dan membayar untuk first date. Tidak berbaloi kehilangan teman suka dan duka, teman bergosip dan shopping kerana seorang lelaki.

Jika ada salah faham dengan si dia, janganlah teman-teman turut sama dilibatkan. Masalah seperti ini biasanya wujud apabila mempunyai teman-teman yang sama dengan si dia. Apabila masalah timbul antara pasangan itu, habis satu geng terpaksa hadapi. Yang untung adalah mereka yang pandai asingkan soal hubungan istimewa dan soal rakan-rakan biasa.

Masa bersama teman biasa adalah masa yang dikhususkan untuk teman biasa, jangan pula diheret si dia bersama. Mungkin ada teman-teman yang tidak kisah, tetapi bear in mind, ada yang kurang selesa. My girlfriends and I are as thick as thieves and may seem the same on the surface, but we are ferociously different. Extremely different. In our circle our virtues are valued but we can agree we all have our vices. Nikah Gantung

NIKAH GANTUNG? APA KATA ANDA?

Islam adalah agama yang penuh dengan rahmah dan berkah. Ia diutuskan oleh Allah swt Tuhan yang mencipta manusia bukan untuk menghalang atau menidakkan keperluan manusia seperti keinginan (nafsu) syahwah dan sebagainya tetapi Islam datang untuk membetulkan dan memandu manusia agar melunas keinginannya secara yang betul, benar dan baik.

Sedang pelbagai pihak seperti buntu mencari penyelesaian kepada barah sosial yang menjurus kepada pergaulan dan seks bebas (zina) serta rogol dan buang bayi berleluasa pada hari ini, saya menyarankan satu program atau projek besar iaitu "Taysir az Ziwaj" dilaksanakan, khasnya oleh pihak berwajib.

Taysir Az Ziwaj ialah "Permudahkan Proses Perkahwinan" terutama kepada anak-anak muda yang tidak berkemampuan dari segi material untuk mendirikan rumahtangga tetapi dalam masa yang sama mempunyai keinginan yang tinggi untuk hidup berpasangan.

Islam adalah agama yang penuh dengan rahmah dan berkah. Ia diutuskan oleh Allah swt Tuhan yang mencipta manusia bukan untuk menghalang atau menidakkan keperluan manusia seperti keinginan (nafsu) syahwah dan sebagainya tetapi Islam datang untuk membetulkan dan memandu manusia agar melunas keinginannya secara yang betul, benar dan baik.

Gejala seks bebas (zina) dan rogol adalah angkara nafsu yang tidak terkawal dan ia disalurkan secara tidak betul, tidak benar dan membawa keburukan kepada diri dan orang lain. Sedang Islam menggalakkan perkahwinan (aqad nikah) agar hati manusia tenteram dan tenang serta nafsu dapat dikawal. Ini membawa kebaikan kepada semua ummat manusia.

Firman Allah swt yang bermaksud :

"Dan kahwinkanlah orang-orang bujang (lelaki dan perempuan) dari kalangan kamu dan orang-orang yang soleh dari hamba-hamba kamu, lelaki dan perempuan. Jika mereka miskin, Allah akan memberikan kekayaan kepada mereka dari limpah kurnia-Nya kerana Allah swt Maha Luas rahmat dan kurnia-Nya lagi Maha Mengetahui." (Surah An-Nuur : Ayat 32)

Perkahwinan yang digalakkan oleh Islam ini sewajarnya dipermudahkan prosesnya agar generasi muda negara tidak liar dan kemaruk nafsu lalu terjebak dalam kancah seks bebas (zina). Memudahkan prosesnya boleh dilakukan oleh pihak berwajib (kerajaan) seperti (sekadar menyebut beberapa contoh) :

1.Memberi peruntukan kepada pasangan muda yang ingin berkahwin
2.Memberi insentif sebagai galakan berkahwin
3.Mengurangkan karenah birokrasi yang menyulitkan
4.Kursus dan khidmat bimbingan perkahwinan secara percuma
5.Menganjurkan perkahwinan beramai-ramai yang menjimatkan
6.Mendidik masyarakat dengan budaya sederhana dalam majlis perkahwinan
7.Merendahkan hantaran perkahwinan

Antara kaedah mempermudahkan proses perkahwinan ini ialah Nikah Khitbah atau dalam bahasa mudah disebut oleh masyarakat kita sebagai Nikah Gantung. Nikah Khitbah adalah sama seperti nikah biasa mengikut hukum dan perundangan Islam yang mempunyai 5 rukunnya iaitu :

1.Suami
2.Isteri
3.Wali
4.Saksi
5.Aqad (Ijab Qabul)

Cuma bezanya ialah pasangan pengantin (suami isteri) tidak tinggal serumah dalam tempoh-tempoh tertentu kerana beberapa keadaan seperti (sekadar menyebut beberapa contoh) :

1.Masih menuntut di kolej atau universiti
2.Tidak mempunyai kemampuan menyewa rumah
3.Belum bersedia menanggung komitmen kehidupan berumahtangga

Justeru itu , buat tempoh tertentu pasangan suami isteri yang telah dinikahkan itu tinggal berasingan (atas persetujuan bersama kedua-dua pihak) dan barangkali tinggal bersama keluarga masing-masing sehinggalah mereka merasakan segala halangan di atas telah selesai dan mereka benar-benar bersedia mengharungi kehidupan berumahtangga yang besar tanggungjawabnya.

Kelebihan Nikah Gantung

Kelebihan Nikah Gantung ini ialah mereka adalah pasangan suami isteri yang sah mengikut hukum agama dan undang-undang negara. Andai dalam tempoh itu mereka bertemu, keluar makan, dating, study bersama bahkan kalau mereka terlanjur sekalipun mengadakan hubungan seks, maka apa yang mereka lakukan itu tidak salah atau tidak haram.

Andai berlaku kehamilan, maka pasangan itu tidak perlu panik terutama pihak gadis yang hamil kerana ia menghamilkan anaknya yang sah nasab (keturunan). Bahkan nanti mereka tidak perlu malu dan menjauhkan diri dari keluarga kerana keluarga pula akan menyambut kedatangan bayi itu dengan bangga dan bermaruah.

Kes buang bayi yang berleluasa hari ini rata-ratanya adalah ekoran rasa panik dan hilang pertimbangan akibat malu dan hilang maruah dari pasangan terbabit. Malah mereka juga takut untuk kembali kepangkuan keluarga justeru mereka mengetahui bahawa hubungan mereka salah dan mereka hamil hasil hubungan terlarang. Ia memalukan keluarga dan mencemarkan maruah bangsa dan agama. Akhirnya, jalan pintas dan terdesak yang ada pada mereka ialah buang bayi tersebut dengan harapan selesai masaalah dan beban yang mereka hadapi tanpa mereka menyedari bahawa akan mencetus bencana yang lebih parah kepada sosial negara.

Penerimaan Masyarakat

Sebenarnya Nikah Khitbah ini pernah dilakukan dalam masyarakat Arab. Menurut amalan tersebut, sewaktu majlis pertunangan, ia dilangsungkan sekali dengan majlis aqad nikah (halflun nikah) tetapi mempelai tidak boleh tinggal sekali (serumah) sehingga berlangsungnya pula majlis perkahwinan (haflul Qiran). Terkadang tempoh itu (antara pertunangan dan perkahwinan) menjangkau tahun lamanya.

Dalam masyarakat Melayu, amalan ini sebenarnya pernah diamalkan sebelum ini dengan nama Nikah Gantung. Ia pernah dikaji oleh beberapa Anthropologist seperti Paletz, Djamour dan Jones. Mereka mengistilahkan Nikah Gantung sebagai "Suspended Marriage Contract" iaitu satu fenomena sosial yang diamalkan oleh masyarakat Islam di Asia tenggara.

Malah menurut Abdul Jalil Borhan, perkara yang berkaitan dengan Nikah Gantung terdapat dalam seksyen 112 (dalam bahagian 5) enakmen Pentadbiran Agama Islam Johor.

Perbahasan Hukum

Salah satu dalil yang digunakan oleh sebahagian para alim ulama' ialah Perkahwinan Rasulullah saw dengan Aishah rha. Menurut hadis yang diriwayatkan oleh Bukhari dan Muslim, Rasulullah saw telah mengahwini Aishah ketika berumur 6 tahun dan hanya duduk serumah ketika Aishah berumur 9 tahun. Hadis ini menjadi dalil berlakunya aqad nikah, maka bukan menjadi kewajipan bagi mempelai untuk terus tinggal serumah terutama atas persetujuan kedua pihak untuk beberapa tempoh yang dipersetujui.

Apabila pasangan pengantin (nikah gantung) bersetuju untuk tinggal berasingan kerana beberapa perkara yang diambil kira seperti yang saya sebutkan di atas tadi, maka tidaklah berbangkit isu nafkah batin (jima'/bersetubuh). Apa yang timbul ialah perbahasan dari segi nafkah zahir (material) . Berkait perkara ini, kita mempunyai beberapa pandangan :

a] Mazhab Zahiri seperti yang dinyatakan oleh Ibn Hizam iaitu nafkah ini (nafkah zahir) wajib dengan berlakunya aqad, maka selepas sahaja aqad nikah, suami wajib memberi nafkah zahir kepada isterinya.

b] Pandangan jumhur ulama' iaitu nafkah zahir itu hanya wajib apabila isteri memenuhi syarat-syarat tertentu seperti isteri menyerahkan diri kepada suami (berpindah ke tempat suami), boleh melakukan istimta' (mengambil keseronokan) , jima'/bersetubuh , isteri tidak keluar rumah tanpa izin suami dan seumpamanya.

Nikah khitbah dapat disimpulkan bahawa ; bebanan nafkah itu tidak diwajibkan ke atas suami sekiranya kehidupan biasa suami isteri belum berlaku. Bagaimanapun sekiranya suami isteri tersebut keluar bersama, maka tiada halangan dari segi hukum syara' kerana mereka adalah suami isteri yang sah. Demikian juga andai berlaku kehamilan maka bayi itu sah dan mereka boleh menjalani kehidupan berkeluarga seperti biasa yang sah. Tidak perlulah mereka melarikan diri, buang bayi dan menggugurkan bayi atau membunuhnya .

Tegasnya saya sebutkan disini, terutama kepada pihak berkuasa agama, ibu bapa dan seluruh anggota masyarakat termasuk anak-anak muda agar mereka kembali kepada cara hidup Islam. Walaupun nikah gantung ini kelihatan seperti baru dalam negara kita bagi sesetengah pihak, tetapi ia lebih baik dari kita membiarkan anak-anak gadis dan teruna kita berpeleseran, bergaul bebas lalu akhirnya mereka terjebak dalam kancah seks bebas dan penzinaan yang memalukan. Bukan sahaja maruah keluarga dan agama tercalar, murka Allah swt itulah yang paling ditakuti.

I’ve had the opportunity to meet a lot of converts to Islam in my life. Most of them face a series of challenges as they seek to adjust to their new lifestyles respectively. Today I was reminded of one of my favorite experiences with a friend who is a convert from about eight years ago.

A young woman had converted in our community and the usual excitement was in the air. A large group of people had welcomed her at her conversion and then a smaller group of people began to teach her the basic things she needed to know. I thought things were going well for her but a few weeks later I noticed she was kind of down. When I asked her what the problem was she said she was concerned about how to find someone to marry. I thought for a moment and then told her that she was only 19 years old. Then I reminded her that she had been Muslim for only about three weeks and maybe she should finish learning how to pray first before thinking about the lovely hardship in a young Muslim’s life that is called marriage.
To show how much we’ve grown as a community, today, eight years later, a young woman entered into my office looking for some advice. She had been told by many of her friends that she needed to start thinking about marriage because she was getting older. She became a Muslim about a month ago.

Are you kidding me?

**Sigh**

Marriage itself seems to plauge most Muslims’ minds across the world. The desire and pursuit of companionship most definitely becomes a critical factor in most peoples lives, making it all the more frustrating when it doesn’t happen as easily as one would like it to. For a convert though it becomes a substantially more frustrating experience, as they at times have to deal with everything a person who has been born into a Muslim family has to deal with and even more. Its important for those of us who were born into Muslim families to reflect on the experience of a convert so as to not cause undue hardship on someone for the simple reason that we didn’t think where they were coming from.

Those of us who are not Muslim should really imagine what it would be like to be a part of a non-Muslim family. For most it becomes quite the struggle, as you are trying to learn the religion yourself while at the same time be a spokesperson for it to people who don’t know anything about it. Whether the family is accepting or rejecting of the conversion, it can still be a very stressful situation where one is expected to know the answer to everything. This becomes a problem when our help of those who are converts stops 10 minutes after we’ve given them a hug the day of their shahada. It becomes an even bigger problem when those of us who decide to give advice start off by saying things like “you should probably think of getting married now”. Can you imagine if you are a 19 year old girl and you come home to talk to your parents’ about your newly found religion and then tell them that you were told you have to get married soon? When I was 19 years old I told my dad I wanted to get married and he told me I was stupid and to stop saying stupid things and my parents are Muslim alhamdulillah.

Another factor thats key to understand here is how hard it can be for a convert to find someone to get married to. I participated on a panel in which one of the speakers stated quite matter-of-factly that parents always know whats best for children and when it comes time to get married, one should fully rely on their families to help them find someone. Afterwards a young girl came up to me quite concerned, stating that not only is her family not Muslim, but they don’t even like Islam. So how can that be the way for her to get married? The cultural norms that dictate “proper” ways to get married can be quite confusing to many Muslims, not just converts. There is no expectation of someone to commit a cultural apostacy upon embracing Islam. Rather one should be able to infuse their Islam within their own cultural dynamic, allowing for even further evidence as to how truly beautiful this deen is that it can be applied anywhere and at anytime for any person or people. Yet our attachment to “our ways” can be more detrimental than we even realize.

I met a young Chinese girl once who approached me asking questions about Islam. Usually when I speak to someone who is interested in converting, I ask them what issues they have with the religion, so as to not waste time speaking about things that already make sense to them. After meeting with me a few times, the girl told me that she did have one issue with Islam. She couldn’t understand why if she became Muslim she would have to marry someone who is Chinese. I asked where she got that from. She said her friends’ parents tell them quite often that they can only marry people from their own cultural background, and if they don’t they are bad Muslims. That is what kept her from becoming Muslim.

A final point of importance would be to realize that there is a good chance that prior to entering into Islam, a person who converts might have had a relationship with someone that makes it that much harder for them to deal with the hardships of marriage after. If you’ve dated someone, been physically engaged with someone, it can become that much more of a struggle to be alone because you’ve felt what its been like to not be alone. Here its also important to realize that if someone has been in a physical relationship prior to their embracement of Islam, its not something that we should hold against anyone after they’ve become Muslim. Especially for women who are unable to cover up sexual experiences from their past, the consideration should consistently be there that they are not lacking in any way because they are not virgins. Its not for us to define someone based off of our relative definitions of whats “good” and whats “bad” when Allah has decided that these people are so good that He erases from their records anything wrong that they’ve done up until that point and keeps only that which is good.

Stay black, white, latino or chinese when you become muslim…no need to adopt an arab accent and trade in all your clothing for salwar kameez sets! and for God sake please don’t change your name…your mother went through great pain to bring you into this world and named you with love! Paco, Li Wen, Tawanna and Alice are beautiful names!

lepas pengantin beredar untuk photoshoot, semua bersetuju nak g karox kat wangsa walk..masing2 telah menunjukkan bakat terpendam...aku da rasa samura berjaya melahirkan pelajar2 berbakat & berilmu...perggggggghhhh..aku camwhore x hengat...tapi semua guna camera org..muahahhaha...**kawan2...sila upload segera ok**..hmm..lepas berkonsert..g lepak NZ..aku ni punyalah taktau..rupa2 nya wangsa walk tu sebelah NZ je...gila kentang la..sumpah aku tatau kewujudan wangsa walk..macam xde publisiti je..mcm biasa...biler jumpa budak skolah..flashback..flashback...flashback...dannnn... flashback..gelak bagaikan ape...unlucky to a few of us yang kerja d next day...so..x lama tu tros masing2 balik..
