Bukan nak kata ape la..saya x hype pun nak countdown raya..cuti raya tahun ni mmg spend untuk short trip within malaysia je..will spend 1st raya with family (tunjuk muka..kang jadi anak tanggang plak)..petang tu push off to kelantan sbb dua kawan baik saya kawen raya ke 2 and raya ke 5..ada gap sikit tu ingat day trip p perhentian..this is my plan for Aug.. Saya lagi excited countdown nak p konsert bigbang..pergi sorg je..mula2 dah janji dgn member..tp dorg x sempat beli..tiket sold out okeh??credit to my twin,dr mira sebab tolong belikan online..sejam jugak la dia cuba masuk baru boleh buat transaction..cat 1-2 ticket habis 1/2 jam je..sbb ni free standing..saya akan pergi awal gila.. i'm looking forward to follow Kim Hyun Joong asia tour next year.. kumpul duit byk2 kuruskan badan cantikkan kulit those are my current obsession

father's day

"When a girl doesn’t have her father in her daily life, she really misses something. It’s simply not enough to have loving mother against the and good female role models in the family. Part of a girls psyche is created by what her father reflect back to her. A girl needs to know that a man loves her, values her, will protect her, and will be dependable for her. It takes years for this influence to sink in and develop inside a girl. And this can’t happen if her dad’s not there much."

Heartbreak!!

My dad and I got along well but we were never very close. To this day I have difficulties sorting through the range of feelings I have about my dad. I have many fond memories but I also have memories I wish I could forget.

1. Invest time prospecting for NEW business every week. Most salespeople rely on existing clients to generate their sales. This can include snail mail, email, networking, drop-by calls, etc. and make sure that every contact offers some type of value to your customer and prospect. What can you do to keep your name in your prospect’s mind?

9. Improve your selling skills. The business world has changed in the last 12-24 months. If you have not adapted your adapted your approach you run the risk of being ousted by the competition. This means you need to read a book, listen to a podcast, take a training program, get some coaching, or join a Mastermind group. And don’t just listen to what being said; work at applying the concepts into your business. How can you improve your sales skills?

10. Show customers why they should keep doing business with you. Just because someone has bought from you in the past does not mean they will continue to do so in the future. In today’s business climate you need to constantly prove to your existing customers why it makes sense to continue buying your product/service. What can you do to reinforce this to your customers?





20 Amalan Dimurahkan rezeki (credit to MAMAFAIZ blog)

1.Menyempatkan diri beribadah
Allah tidak sia-siakan pengabdian diri hamba-Nya, seperti firman-Nya dalam hadis qudsi: “Wahai anak Adam, sempatkanlah untuk menyembah-Ku maka Aku akan membuat hatimu kaya dan menutup kefakiranmu. Jika tidak melakukannya maka Aku akan penuhi tanganmu dengan kesibukan dan Aku tidak menutup kefakiranmu.” (Riwayat Ahmad, Tirmizi, Ibnu Majah dan al-Hakim dari Abu Hurairah r.a.) < -- lesson learn kat sini..masuk je azan ..kene terus gi solat..jangan dok tangguh2 mengadap laptop..ni peringatan untuk diri sendiri gak..sbb kadang2 saya ralit dpn laptop..saya dok tangguhkan… tapi saya dah try amalkan..bile saya focus..ingatAllah lebih then baru sy focus keje saya..masyaAllah..melimpah rezeki saya..alhamdulillah Allah takkan memungkiri janjiNya

2.Memperbanyak istighfar
Istighfar adalah rintihan dan pengakuan dosa seorang hamba di depan Allah, yang menjadi sebab Allah jatuh kasih dan kasihan pada hamba-Nya lalu Dia berkenan melapangkan jiwa dan kehidupan si hamba. Sabda Nabi s.a.w.: “Barang siapa yang memperbanyak istighfar maka Allah s.w.t akan menghapuskan segala kedukaannya, menyelesaikan segala masalahnya dan memberinya rezeki dari arah yan g tidak disangka.” (Riwayat Ahmad, Abu Daud, an-N as a’i, Ibnu Majah dan al-Hakim dari A bd ullah bin Abb as r.a.) < --bykkan beristigfar ..kalau dpt 70x sebelum subuh..

3.Tinggalkan perbuatan dosa
Istighfar tidak laku di sisi Allah jika masih buat dosa. Dosa bukan saja membuat hati resah malah menutup pintu rezeki. Sa bd a Nabi s.a.w.: “… dan seorang lelaki akan diharamkan baginya rezeki kerana dosa yan g dibuatnya.” (Riwayat at-Tirmizi) < -- Ya Allah ampunla dosa2 lalu ku..dan peliharalah aku dari membuat dosa,, saya ni pun manusia biasa jer..huhuhu

4.Sentiasa ingat Allah
Banyak ingat Allah buatkan hati tenang dan kehidupan terasa lapang. Ini rezeki yang hanya Allah beri kepada orang beriman. Firman-Nya: “(iaitu) orang-orang beriman dan hati mereka menjadi tenteram dengan mengingati Allah. Ingatlah, hanya dengan mengingati Allah maka hati akan menjadi tenteram.” (Ar-Ra’d: 28) < -- yelah…lagi kita ingat dunia..lagi tak tenteram hati ni kan kan..

5.Berbakti dan mendoakan ibu bapa
Dalam hadis riwayat Imam Ahmad, Rasulullah s.a.w. berpesan agar siapa yang ingin panjang umur dan ditambahi rezekinya, hendaklah berbakti kepada ibu bapanya dan menyambung tali kekeluargaan. Baginda s.a.w. juga bersabda: “Siapa berbakti kepada ibu bapanya maka kebahagiaanlah buatnya dan Allah akan memanjangkan umurnya.” (Riwayat Abu Ya’ala, at-Tabrani, al-Asybahani dan al-Hakim) Mendoakan ibu bapa juga menjadi sebab mengalirnya rezeki, berdasarkan sabda Nabi s.a.w.: “Apabila hamba itu meninggalkan berdoa kepada kedua orang tuanya nescaya terputuslah rezeki (Allah) daripadanya.” (Riwayat al-Hakim dan ad-Dailami)< -jadi sape2 yang masih hidup kedua org tuanya..berbaktilah yer…..

6.Berbuat baik dan menolong orang yang lemah
Berbuat baik kepada orang yang lemah ini termasuklah menggembira kan dan meraikan orang tua, orang sakit, anak yatim dan fakir miskin, juga isteri dan anak-anak yang masih kecil. Sabda Nabi s.a.w.: “Tidaklah kamu diberi pertolongan dan diberi rezeki melainkan kerana orang-orang lemah di kalangan kamu.” (Riwayat Bukhari)

7.Tunaikan hajat orang lain
Menunaikan hajat orang menjadi sebab Allah lapangkan rezeki dalam bentuk tertunainya hajat sendiri, seperti sabda Nabi s.a.w.: “Siapa yang menunaikan hajat saudaranya maka Allah akan menunaikan hajatnya…” (Riwayat Muslim)

8.Banyak berselawat
Ada hadis yang menganjurkan berselawat jika hajat atau cita-cita tidak tertunai kerana selawat itu dapat menghilangkan kesusahan, kesedihan, dan kesukaran serta meluaskan rezeki dan menyebabkan terlaksananya semua hajat. Wallahu a’lam.

9.Buat kebajikan banyak-banyak
Ibnu Abb as berkata: “Sesungguhnya kebajikan itu memberi cahaya kepada hati, kemurahan rezeki, kekuatan jasad dan disayangi oleh makhluk yang lain. Manakala kejahatan pula boleh menggelapkan rupa, menggelapkan hati, melemahkan tubuh, sempit rezeki dan makhluk lain mengutuknya.”

10.Berpagi-pagi
Menurut Rasulullah s.a.w., berpagi-pagi (memulakan aktiviti harian sebaik-baik selesai solat Subuh berjemaah) adalah amalan yang berkat. < -- lepas subuh tu ..jgnla sambung selimut balik..cemanalah rezeki nak masuk.. so lepas subuh…plan your activities kay

11.Menjalin silaturrahim
Nabi s.a.w. bersabda: “Barang siapa ingin dilapangkan rezekinya dan dilambatkan ajalnya maka hendaklah dia menghubungi sanak-saudaranya.” (Riwayat Bukhari)

12.Melazimi kekal berwuduk.
Seorang Arab desa menemui Rasulullah s.a.w. dan meminta pedoman mengenai beberapa perkara termasuk mahu dimurahkan rezeki oleh Allah. Baginda s.a.w. bersabda: “Sentiasalah berada dalam keadaan bersih (dari hadas ) nescaya Allah akan memurahkan rezeki.” (Diriwayatkan daripada Sayidina Khalid al-Walid)

13.Bersedekah
Sedekah mengundang rahmat Allah dan menjadi sebab Allah buka pintu rezeki. Nabi s.a.w. bersabda kepada Zubair bin al-Awwam: “Hai Zubair, ketahuilah bahawa kunci rezeki hamba itu ditentang Arasy, yang dikirim oleh Allah az za wajalla kepada setiap hamba sekadar nafkahnya. Maka siapa yang membanyakkan pemberian kepada orang lain, nescaya Allah membanyakkan baginya. Dan siapa yang menyedikitkan, nescaya Allah menyedikitkan baginya.” (Riwayat ad-Daruquthni dari An as r.a.)

14.Melazimi solat malam (tahajud)
Ada keterangan bahawa amalan solat tahajjud memudahkan memperoleh rezeki, menjadi sebab seseorang itu dipercayai dan dihormati orang dan doanya dimakbulkan Allah.

15.Melazimi solat Dhuha
Amalan solat Dhuha yang dibuat waktu orang sedang sibuk dengan urusan dunia (aktiviti harian), juga mempunyai rahsia tersendiri. Firman Allah dalam hadis qudsi: “Wahai anak Adam, jangan sekali-kali engkau mal as mengerjakan empat rakaat pada waktu permulaan siang (solat Dhuha), nanti pasti akan Aku cukupkan keperluanmu pada petang harinya." (Riwayat al-Hakim dan Thabrani)

16.Bersyukur kepada Allah
Syukur ertinya mengakui segala pemberian dan nikmat dari Allah. Lawannya adalah kufur nikmat. Allah berfirman: "Demi sesungguhnya! Jika kamu bersyukur, nescaya Aku tambahi nikmat-Ku kepadamu, dan demi sesungguhnya jika kamu kufur, sesungguhnya az ab-Ku amat ker as ." (Ibrahim: 7) Firman-Nya lagi: “… dan Kami akan memberi bal as an kepada orang-orang yan g bersyukur.” (Ali Imran: 145)

17.Mengamalkan zikir dan bacaan ayat Quran tertentu
Zikir dari ayat-ayat al-Quran atau asma’ul husna selain menenangkan, menjenihkan dan melunakkan hati, ia mengandungi fadilat khusus untuk keluasan ilmu, terbukanya pintu hidayah, dimudahkan faham agama, diberi kemanisan iman dan dilapangkan rezeki.
Misalnya, dua ayat terakhir surah at-Taubah (ayat 128-129) jika dibaca secara konsisten tujuh kali setiap kali lepas solat, dikatakan boleh menjadi sebab Allah lapangkan kehidupan dan murahkan rezeki.

Salah satu nama Allah, al-Fattah (Maha Membukakan) dikatakan dapat menjadi sebab dibukakan pintu rezeki jika diwiridkan selalu; misalnya dibaca
“Ya Allah ya Fattah” berulang-ulang, diiringi doa: “Ya Allah, bukalah hati kami untuk mengenali-Mu, bukalah pintu rahmat dan keampunan-Mu, ya Fattah ya 'Alim.”
Ada juga hadis menyebut, siapa amalkan baca surah al-Waqi’ah setiap malam, dia tidak akan ditimpa kepapaan. Wallahu a’lam.

18.Berdoa
Berdoa menjadikan seorang hamba dekat dengan Allah, penuh bergantung dan mengharap pada rahmat dan pemberian dari-Nya. Dalam al-Quran, Allah suruh kita meminta kepada-Nya, nescaya Dia akan perkenankan.

19.Berikhtiar
Siapa berusaha, dia akan dapat. Ini sunnatullah. Dalam satu hadis sahih dikatakan bahawa Allah berikan dunia kepada orang yang dicintai-Nya dan yang tidak dicintai-Nya, tapi agama hanya Allah beri kepada orang yang dicintai-Nya saja. (Riwayat Ahmad, Ibnu Abi Syaibah dan al-Hakim).Bagi orang beriman, tentulah dia perlu mencari sebab-sebab yang boleh membawa kepada murah rezeki dalam skop yang luas . Misalnya, hendak tenang dibacanya Quran, hendak dapat anak yang baik dididiknya sejak anak dalam rahim lagi, hendak sihat dijaganya pemakanan dan makan yang baik dan halal, hendak dapat jiran yang baik dia sendiri berusaha jadi baik, hendak rezeki berkat dijauhinya yan g haram, dan sebagainya.

20.Bertawakal
Dengan tawakal, seseorang itu akan direzekikan rasa kaya dengan Allah. Firman-Nya: “Barang siapa bertawakal kepada Allah, nescaya Allah mencukupkan (keperluannya).” (At-Thalaq: 3)
Nabi s.a.w. bersabda: “Seandainya kamu bertawakal kepada Allah dengan sebenar-benar tawakal, nescaya kamu diberi rezeki seperti burung diberi rezeki, ia pagi hari lapar dan petang hari telah kenyang.” (Riwayat Ahmad, at-Tirmizi, Ibnu Majah, Ibnu Hibban, al-Hakim dari Umar bin al-Khattab r.a.)

In the mood of SINGING,HUMMING

As I lift my head up and open my mouth, my voice escalates with every tune that comes out. The soothing words bounce off of my tongue and release the tension held within. Even if the sounds aren’t perfect or correct, every little bit helps me get through the day. When stressed, nothing helps me more than singing. My passion for singing comes from deep within my soul, mind and heart. When I sing, I sing with all of me, putting everything I can into it. I have always had a great passion for singing, ever since I was young. Although I am shy and still get nervous and shaky in front of others, in my own time, singing is my cigarette, my alcoholic drink, my escape from all the anger and the pain.

From the time that I could speak my first words, I was singing. I loved to go in the bathroom, close the door, stand in front of the mirror with a hairbrush in my hand, and sing about whatever came to mind. If I couldn’t think about a song or remember the words, I always made up my own verse along the way. Singing and music is my passion. I will sing while driving or being held up in traffic jam on the road, I will sing in the shower, I will sing when I have nothing to do.

One thing for sure, I AM NOT A Professional SINGER

1. Sesapa nak ganti aku tahun depan… Dah tak larat lagi nak buat kelakar sebab nak berumur. Nak beribadah pulak rasanya…

Saya rasa kini saya boleh berbangga dengan konsep lawak jenaka yang saya ketengahkan. Esok atau lusa kalau saya sudah meninggal dunia, mungkin orang akan ingat dengan konsep lawak yang sebegini. btw...on 1st january...abg bobo telah pulang ke rahmatullah..bobo dapat call drpd 1 of his family member bgtau abg die nazak...so...we celebrate our new year driving all the way fm damansara to kota bharu kelantan..nampak bunga api cantek2 pon dlm kete je..nak cakap byk pon takut..(bobo sgt garang ok)..tp takut sekejap je la...hahahaha..lepas tu saya bercakap tanpa henti melainkan sy tdo..beli big mac kat genting sempah n stop jap driving sbb ade polis..KAMI TIADA LESEN MEMANDU..agak2 da yakin polis xde...ktorg continue drive..drie...drive..drive..saammmmpai KB...masa da nk dekat sampai bobo dapat call lagi...abg die da xde...sayu jugak la hati tgk bobo dah sobbing..selepas siap pengkebumian..saya tros g pasar siti khadijah bli ayam, sayur n sumer2 la untuk makan malam family n tahlil..sempat la berkenalan ngan anak buah bobo,(ooppss..da lupa nme budak tu)..she's a nice girl..

balik dr pasar sy tros..ajak bobo ke KB Mall jap sbb nak bli baju kurung/jubah...saya bwk 1 je bj kurung..bukan ape..byk sgt baju yg x sesuai untuk funeral..macam datin2..liplapliplap..xde la bershopping sakan pon..pilih-bli-blah..balik umah tros basuh ayam dgn Suri(anak buah bobo juga)..kak yah datang masak..n sy mandi2 n pakai baju baru..sgt cantik jubah tu..lepas tahlil keluarga bobo buat meeting..so..we..the biras2..dok borak2 kat tepi..disebabkan saya paling muda..saya pon dengar n gelak2 dgr dorg borak..boleh tahan kelakar gak biras2 ni..muahahahaha..we..bobo n me balik the next day..lepas maghrib...sempat jumpa Sukom (my ex-samurian)..we r using KB-Kuala Terengganu-Kuantan-KL Route otw back..singgah Kuala Ibai..jumpa kak wani n having our dinner..tros drive non-stop to KL..bobo je la yg drive..saya tdo je..sedar2 da sampai karak..hhahahahhaahahah...

on Sunday,3rd January..i ade date ngan frenny,my new friend..die tolong i bli kan kebaya yang sgt cantek..i jumpa die pon kejap je sbb tgk die da letih sgt...i ngan bobo jalan2 kat sunway pyramid then amik bobo's niece,asha kat sunway college's hostel..g lepak makan abc..

lagi 4 hari besday diri sendiri..saya rasa besday sy akan plain je mcm tahun2 lepas..2006 bday-break up,2007 bday-gaduh, 2008 bday-final year,intern,waitress, 2009-havana,workloads,2010 is still unknown..

Wow, hard to believe the year is all done, gone, over. So..this is the last post of 2009.

The first one was on 14 March 2009. It was a Saturday morning, I woke up from the bed and straight on to the computer to write the blog. I was inspired by Chika's blog and I am happy to be the inspiration for a few other bloggers. Blogging has definitely helped me improve in my thought process and even in expressing them.

2009...Some people are settling down, some people are settling and some people refuse to settle for anything. THAT'S ME!!malas sebenarnya..tatau nak citer ape.plus macam agak bz n blur...but..i already posted my 2010 resolution guys..I do think New Year's resolutions can't technically be expected to begin on New Year's Day, don't you? Since, because it's an extension of New Year's Eve, smokers are already on a smoking roll and cannot be expected to stop abruptly on the stroke of midnight with so much nicotine in the system. Also dieting on New Year's Day isn't a good idea as you can't eat rationally but really need to be free to consume whatever is necessary, moment by moment, in order to ease your hangover. I think it would be much more sensible if resolutions began generally on January the second.hahahha..or maybe the day after or...or..hahhaha...

well...welcome 2010.new year.same goal..CHEERS!!

Habis tgk movie..g lepak d'tomyam..since aku da lme x jumpa mira..ktorg dok flashback mcm2 story..pasal hantu SAMURA..pasal kenakalan dan kegemaran budak2 nakal yg dok asmara..eyh..asmara plak..asrama la weiii..all in all..it was another awesome night i've ever had afta all the FUCK-ness (another nu word i've invented) in my daily life..



weekend akan menjadi hari paling best kat dunia..cuti la katakan..sape cakap cuti x best..PENIPU BESAR..masuk neraka tau kalo tipu..aiyokkk..tak tau..mak balik bawak kayu..tersepak bontot lembu!!HARI CUTI adalah hari paling best dalam dunia..sebab aku boleh buat ape yang aku suka..xde org nak kesah ape aku buat..tido semasa cuti adalah tdo terpaling heaven..aku namakan tdo masa cuti tdo-bgn-sendiri-tanpa-kejutan..pkol 10,11,12 waima pkol 5 petang sumer aku pnye suka nak bangun pkol bpe..yg syoknye time cuti neh..aktiviti mandi dibekukan sampai aku rasa nak g swimming..tros terjun..lepas swimming baru mandi..jimat sket air kat umah tu..hahaha..cakap pasal swimming macam la terror giler swimming..sebenarnye aku adalah sgt terror berendam je..then..sun-bathing buat bra-line instead of bikini line...bajet nak jadi sexy la ade bikini line..suka hati aku nak buat ape la kan..petang tu..g lepak jap makan tomyam putih terbaekk dr ladang..borak-berak jap..balik umah..KEMAR datang jumaat malam dgn membawa bekalan rokok..sejak dok d'rimba..aku malas nak kuar dr kawasan umah 2-3 kali sehari..aku x dapat lagi stiker n pass card..agak tensen jugak la guard dok tnye..naseb bek aku PR baik pnye ngan guard..lepas la hari2 bese..hari jumaat kedai kat dalam d'rimba neh tutup..wei..pakcik aku pnye besday ..ko tutup kedai pehalllll...(bajet sultan selangor pacik aku)..naseb bek kemar dtg..penyelamat alam sungguh ko neh!!

the next day..aku dok sekor2 kat umah..kemar g dating ngan kunk..aku dating ngan lappy..then..dalam pkol 7 mcm tu..khidir sampai..ktorg nak g swimming..aku on je..ktorg + aza,my housemate pon swimming sampai kemar balik..mandi + pakai2 cantik2..aku,kemar,khidir n kunk pon melepak kat eckywoobee then tros sambung lepak kat cynna..lme gle aku x buat aktiviti kecergasan malam2..sakit2 kaki aku dibuatnye..tu r..nak melaram sgt kan pakai heels 3 inci..amik ko..

Praying for Forgiveness and Repentance * By Harun Yahya

All through their lives, certain people pursue a flawless image for themselves. Their efforts center around one goal: to be perfect and to look perfect. This is a natural consequence of finding it degrading to make a mistake. The ideal person, they consider, is one who can project an aura of impeccability.

However, this "flawlessness" is an illusionary goal. Neither is it one of the attributes of a believer we find extolled in the Qur'an. We would go so far as to say that such a "believer model" does not exist. For mankind is inherently weak, humble, and helpless before God and can consequently makes mistakes all throughout life.

No doubt, people will always do their best to avoid mistakes and sins, yet, being frail servants of God, they will not succeed in being free of all mistakes.
In the Qur'an we are informed that mankind has faults and sins before God:

[If God were to punish men according to what they deserve, He would not leave on the surface of the earth one single living creature: but He gives them respite for a stated term: when their term expires, truly, (they will know that) God has in His sight all His Servants](Fatir 35:45)
In accordance with this divine command stated in the Qur'an, the attitude expected of believers is not that of being faultless or sinless. They are only expected to constantly seek forgiveness from God.

This is actually an attribute that makes the distinction between a believer and non-believer. Unbelievers struggle to cover up their faults and sins, yet believers never try to do this.

What is important for them is to feel an inner regret and consequently turn to God and seek His forgiveness.

While reading the Qur'an, we see that the willingness to ask for forgiveness is a natural and unfailing attribute of the believers. On that account, we understand that believers never see themselves as beings purified of all sins and faults. On the contrary, they continually seek refuge in God's mercy. In the following verse, turning to God in repentance is regarded as one of the important attributes of a believer:

[Those who turn to God in repentance; who serve Him, and praise Him; who fast in devotion to the cause of God; who bow down and prostrate themselves in prayer; who enjoin good and forbid evil; who observe the limit set by God, shall be richly rewarded. Proclaim the glad tidings to the believers.](At-Tawbah 9:112)

Forgiveness Vis-à-Vis Repentance

Asking for forgiveness of God is a regular aspect of worship for believers. People can ask forgiveness of God all day long for all their sins, whether deliberately or unintentionally committed. Moreover, as well as asking for forgiveness for themselves, they can also do it for other believers, as stated in the Qur'an.

In Arabic, the word for "asking for forgiveness" is istighfar which is "asking for God's attribute of Ghafir, or He who forgives.

Thus, asking for forgiveness of God is like pledging to purify one's self and hence seeking refuge in the mercy and grace of God. In the Qur'an the believers pray saying what means:


["Our Lord! Forgive us our sins, remove from us our iniquities, and take to Yourself our souls in the company of the righteous"](Aal `Imran 3:193)


The judgment of God regarding this is as below:



[I am with you: if you (but) say your prayers regularly, practice regular charity, believe in my messengers, honor and assist them, and loan to God a beautiful loan, indeed I will rid you of your evils, and admit you to gardens with rivers flowing beneath; but if any of you, after this, denies Me, he will truly have wandered from the path of rectitude](Al-Ma'idah 5:12)


As mentioned above, praying for forgiveness of God may be both for sins, committed intentionally or unintentionally, as well as for the sins of other believers. This is the most important distinction between asking for forgiveness and repentance.

Although praying for forgiveness is a regular prayer of the believers, repentance is the steadfast attitude taken towards a particular sin or fault, or the giving of a firm decision not to turn to that sin again.

Repentance is seeking refuge in God for one's sin, promising not to commit that sin again and, to this end asking the guidance and help of God. The exact meaning of repentance is "to turn back". Thus, repentance expresses an absolute commitment not to commit any particular sin again.

The intention behind repentance is not to repeat the same sin. God enjoins the faithful thus:


[O you who believe! Turn to God with sincere repentance, in the hope that your Lord will remove from you your ills and admit you to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow](At-Tahrim 66:8)

However, this is not to say that believers repent for a sin or fault only once. They may repent on one occasion, and then, in a moment of weakness, repeat the same sin. However, the mercy of God never ceases to encompass them. This is why they can still repent to God and seek refuge in Him. God is always ready to show grace and mercy to the believers. This is stated in the Qur'an:


[O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls! Do not despair of the Mercy of God: for God forgives all sins: for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." Turn to your Lord (in repentance) and bow to His Will, before the Penalty comes upon you: after that you shall not be helped](Az-Zumar 39:53-54)

Pharaoh's Repentance


Still, there is one kind of repentance God will not accept: the insincere repentance offered when death comes. This is actually the moment people meet the angels of death. Of this the Qur'an says what means:


[God accepts the repentance of those who do evil in ignorance and repent soon afterwards; to them God will turn in mercy: for God is full of knowledge and wisdom. Of no avail is the repentance of those who continue to do evil, until death faces one of them, and he says, "Now I have repented indeed" nor of those who die rejecting Faith: for them We have prepared a most grievous punishment](An-Nisaa' 4:17-18)

In the Qur'an, God gives the striking example of such an act of repentance made at the last moment. Pharaoh, who chased Moses and the believers in order to kill them, ended by expressing his repentance while he drowned in the sea — a miracle wrought by God.


[At length, when overwhelmed with the flood, he said: I believe that there is no god except Him Whom the Children of Israel believe in: I am of those who submit (to God in Islam)](Yunus 10:90)

However, God's response to him was what means:


[Ah now! But a little while before, you were in rebellion! and you perpetrated mischief and violence!](Yunus 10:91)

Since repentance is essential to the eternal salvation of people, they should well be aware of its importance and observe this form of worship to the best of their ability. People may have sinned extensively or have rebelled against one's Creator. Yet, God encompasses His servants with so much mercy that He grants eternal salvation in response to a sincere repentance:


[When those who believe in Our signs, come to you say: "Peace be upon you: Your Lord has decreed for Himself (the rule of) mercy: truly, if any of you committed evil in ignorance, and thereafter repented, and mended his ways, he would find God Oft-forgiving and Most Merciful."](Al-An`am 6:54)

Keep in mind that God even forgives unbelievers and hypocrites who fought against Him and His Messenger, if they turn back to God with sincere and true repentance:


[The Hypocrites shall be cast into the lowest depths of the Fire: no helper will you find for them; But those who repent, mend their ways, hold fast to God, and are sincere in their devotion to Him-they shall be numbered with the believers. And soon God will grant to the believers a reward of immense value](An-Nisaa' 4:145-146)


[Those who conceal the clear signs We have sent down, and the guidance, after We have made it clear for the people in the Book-on them shall be God's curse, and the curse of those entitled to curse, except those who repent and make amends and openly declare the Truth. Toward them I shall relent; for I am the Relenting one and Most Merciful] (Al-Baqarah 2:159-160)

This is a great opportunity God grants to His servants. He commands people never to be overwhelmed by despair due to any sin they have committed and always to turn to Him in hope. However, misinterpretation of this concept and an insincere attitude do not earn people divine approval. Knowing the commandments of God, yet deliberately committing sins, saying "no matter what happens, I will be forgiven" shows completely flawed reasoning.

Such are the people who "reject faith after they accepted it, and then go on adding to their defiance of faith". Only the repentance of those who out of ignorance commit sins is accepted. The repentance of insincere people, who simply take repentance as the freedom to commit sins are, however, rejected. Stress is laid on this in the Qur'an:


[But those who reject faith after they have accepted it, and then go on adding to their defiance of faith, will never have their repentance accepted; for they are those who have of set purpose gone astray](Aal `Imran 3:90)
One point needs clarification here: It is quite possible that, being ignorant, being in a state of heedlessness, or indulging in desires, people may very well commit sins. However, if people realize theirs faults and sincerely repent, God may well be forgiving. However, people who commit sins, although knowing the judgments of God, saying, "I will be forgiven no matter what happens," are merely deceivers. That is why their repentance is not acceptable to God.

It is hardly necessary to say that heartfelt regret and sincerity are the keys to divine forgiveness.

The Qur'anic injunction: [Call on your Lord with humility and in private](Al-A`raf 7:55) also applies when showing contrition asking for forgiveness. While repenting for serious errors especially, deep regret and a sincere attitude are essential. As an example of repentance and forgiveness, the Qur'an cites the case of the three Muslims who were left behind, when all others had gone to fight in the cause of God, thereby committing a great sin;


[God turned with favor to the Prophet, the Muhajirs, and the Ansar, who followed him in a time of distress, when the hearts of some of them had nearly swerved from duty; but He turned to them (also): for He is Most Kind, and Most Merciful to them. He turned in mercy also to the three who were left behind; they felt guilty to such a degree that the earth seemed constrained to them, for all its spaciousness, and their very souls seemed straitened to them, and they perceived that there was no fleeing from God and no refuge but in Him. Then He turned to them, so that they might repent: for God is the Forgiving One and Most Merciful.](At-Tawbah 9:117-118)

Asking forgiveness of God and repenting one's sins serve as pure expressions of being a sincere servant to God. Believers should be well aware that they may commit sins, but that they should take refuge in the mercy and grace of God. Simply worrying, or feeling grief for one's former sins is quite pointless. Man should consider the story of the messengers who made some errors, yet continued their struggle after sincerely repenting. Man should trust in the forgiveness of God.


In the Qur'an it is mentioned that praying for forgiveness and expressing repentance are ways to eternal salvation:



[If it were not for God's grace and mercy to you, and that God is Forgiving and full of Wisdom, (you would indeed be ruined).](An-Nur 24:10)
